Sharda Peeth’s soil from PoK reached Ayodhya via China

Sharda Peeth’s Karnatak Anjani Mountain Hanuman Temple

Where the first meeting of Hanuman and Shri Rama took place, this temple is located on the Anjani mountain in Bellary, Karnataka. … Hanuman met Ram for the first time here

Bellary district of Karnataka and a small town here, Hampi, was once the capital of the medieval Hindu kingdom of Vijayanagara Empire. Hampi is situated on the banks of the Tungabhadra River. This city was also known as ‘Pampa’ in ancient times. It is believed that the first meeting of Lord Shri Ram was in Pampa with Lord Hanuman.

How did you meet

According to legend, when Ravana was kidnapped, Mata Sita was taken from Lanka to Panchavati, near Nashik in Maharashtra. Then Rama and Lakshmana did not know where Sita went. He wandered from jungle to forest, but nothing of Mother Sita was found out. At that time, the two brothers reached Kishkindha, searching for Sita. It was in this area itself that there was rule of Bajrangbali’s father Maharaj Kesari on Anjani mountain, where Bajrangbali lived. According to Valmiki Ramayana, Lord Shri Ram and Lakshman met Sugriva. Sugriva’s friend was Bajrangbali when he came to know that two princes had come to his territory. Then he came to meet him in Brahman form. He humbly said, “Who are you with a dark body, are you Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh, any of these three gods or are you both male and Narayan?”

On the pumpy, Hampi, Mr. Ramachandraji said, “We are the sons of Ayodhya King Maharaj Dasharatha and have gone out on exile to fulfill the promise of the father. Our names are Rama-Laxman, we are both brothers. We had a beautiful lady with us. Here in the forest, the demon defeated my wife Janaki. “O Brahmin! We search for him only. We told our character. Now O Brahmin! You listen to yourself, who are you? कर Recognizing the Lord, Hanumanji held his feet and bowed down on the earth. He paid obeisance by prostrating himself. He was delighted to see his adorable face. Where Hanumanji met Lord Shree Ram, there was no one who was called Pampa in ancient times.

Ravinder Pandita, convener of Bachao Sharda Samiti, handed over the pot with sacred clay and flowers from the temple to the VHP on 25 July. Expressing immense joy on the auspicious occasion, Pandita said: “The fact that the sacred soil of Sharada Peeth can be a part of the Bhoomi Pujan of the Ram temple in Ayodhya brings immense joy to all Kashmiri Pandits. “This is a big deal, especially for Kashmiri Pandits. We are very happy today ”, said Pandita, who hails from Kashmir and has been living in New Delhi, fighting for Sarada for decades.

Talking to the media, the convenor of the Sharada Peeth said: “Like the Ayodhya issue, the Sharadi Peeth’s Shakti Sthali is also a very old issue and therefore if the former can be resolved, it should also be resolved,” says Pandita , Hopefully someday it will be possible to reach the shrine soon.

“If I could go to Kartarpur last year, I should also be able to have darshan of Sharda Peeth,” he says, reiterating his long overdue dream.

Meanwhile, Manjunath Sharma, hailing from Karnataka and an active member of the Seva Sharda Peetha who had come to Ayodhya with soil, said that he had gone there on the instructions of Ravindra Pandit, the head of the Sharada Peeth.

Sharma said: “In fact Indian citizens are not allowed in PoK. So a member Bharatvanshi Venkatesh Raman and his wife, who were originally from Karnataka and living in China, were sent to PoK by passport from China. The couple arrived in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), from Hong Kong. After reaching PoK, he came to Delhi via Hong Kong with offerings and sacred soil from the Sharda Peeth. Here he handed this soil to me. “Along with this, I also brought holy water from the Anjana Mountains of Karnataka, which is considered the birthplace of Hanuman, a devotee of Rama.”

Sharada Peeth is one of the 18 Shakti Peethas in PoK

PoK has Sharda Peeth, about 207 kilometers north of Muzaffarabad. The last time any Indian could undertake a pilgrimage was in 1948. Swami Nand Lal, a Kashmiri monk who initially built his ashram in Sharda Nagar, came for the last time. After partition, he had to go from his ashram Sharda to village Tikkar.

This temple is important for Hindus as it is called one of the 18 Maha Shakti Peethas. It is believed that Sharada Tirtha is the place where the right hand of Sati Devi fell when Lord Vishnu used his Sudarshan Chakra to stop Lord Shiva from performing the Tandava dance. Lord Shiva was carrying the body of Sati Devi while he was dancing. The body of Sati Devi was cut into many pieces when Lord Vishnu used his Sudarshan Chakra on Lord Shiva and where his body parts fell in India and Sri Lanka is called Shaktipeeth. There are 18 such places and are called Ashta (8) Dasa (10) Shaktipeeth and Sharad Peeth.
